Riverside Strides 5k race will begin at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 8th. All participants must be registered by 8:15 A.M. Early Registration ends August 17, 2007. Discounts will be offered to students and anyone who enters prior to August 17, 2007. Registration after this date will be full price. We encourage office groups, running clubs or track teams and families to enter. |
| Try something new and enter with your dog! Leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome to participate. The Fun Run / Walk will begin at 8:30 A.M. All fun run participants must be registered by 8:15 A.M. All participants will be eligible for door prizes. Please be courteous to runners and keep dogs on a short leash. Park rules require owners to pick up waste, waste bags are available on site. |  |
Riverside Strides follows a beautiful, certified 5K course along the Platte River. The race/fun run begins in Riverside Park located at 4000 Riverside Parkway in Evans, Colorado off 37th street. Registration will begin on the basketball courts at 7:30 AM. Parking is available near the course. The paved course begins in Riverside Park, travels along the Platte River, loops around Riverside Lake in Riverside Park, and finishes in the park. The course has been refined and improved from past years. The race and fun run / walk begins at 8:30 AM. The race will be completed in time for the Pancake Breakfast, the Evans Fest Parade, and other activities.
All participants will receive a Race Tee shirt and water bottle. The first 10 race registrants will receive one ticket to the Evans Fest all you can eat pancake breakfast.
